At the moment, I’m a student at Georgia Tech. I’m well into my third year here, majoring in Computer Science. I’m specializing in Artificial Intelligence and Networking. I’m interested in starting a company when before I get out of school, getting rich, and retiring early so I can enjoy this world while I’m still young enough to do everything I want to.

Care about my personal life? I’m an ultramarathon runner. I play (read: try to play) the banjo. I love bluegrass music. I backpack, camp, kayak, ski and do whatever else I can to get myself outside as much as possible. I love to read, solve puzzles, travel, make extraordinarily witty comments, and tell corny jokes. I’m a nearly limitless supply of song lyrics. I’m nearly 100% self-taught at the things I love to do. I do some freelance work when I have time and I have several side-projects that I am working on turning into some money. I really used to love to write, but haven’t done a lot of that lately. As you may be able to see, I’m working on that one. I think laughter keeps people alive. I do everything in my power to live with no regrets. I also don’t sleep. I start every sentence with ‘I’.

Looking to hire me? I’ve fairly well mastered C#, C/C++, Java, Python, Javascript, and PHP. I’ve done some work in LISP, though not as much as the others. I’ve also realized that languages are just tools; it’s the concepts and way of thinking that matter. I can pick up a language and hit the ground running in no time at all. I’m pretty much focused on web programming for the time being, since I’m trying to make myself some dinero, and most of the freelance work is in web development, not to mention the fact that the web provides an unprecedented opportunity to make people’s lives better. I’ve also got a good bit of experience doing 3D game development in C# and C++. I’ve been running Linux for 3 years, and have learned to master my OS. I top it all off by being a vim grandmaster, super-duper, oh-so-awesome guru, as if you cared. I am capable of writing an entire paragraph of sentences starting with the letter ‘I’, if I so desire.
